About The Wet Jet Sport II
The Wet Jet Sport II is long defunct. We've managed to accumulate some info and photos from older magazine articles. Water Sooter magazine did a small article on the Sport II back in the summer of 1989 issue. We posted some of the pics and specs below.
We will continually update this page as we accumulate more info and pics as they become available. If you can contribute any Sport II pictures, please use the form found on our contact page. Thank you...
Photos and info are from a 1989 Water Scooter magazine.

A summary of Wet-Jet personal watercraft...
Wetjet International its first manufactured personal watercraft in 1987. They designed their PWC's in the same style as snowmobiles, which came natural for the Minnesota based company.
It featured a butterfly steering wheel with simple controls and electric start. The earliest models were powered by Cuyuna engines and thrust forward using a Brut jet pump.
After a few years in the business, Wetjet International would eventually sell out to Mastercraft Boats.
The Mastercraft lineup continued until the last PWC's were produced in 1997. They boasted of better stability and more comfort on rough water and appeared to have a good handle on the personal watercraft industry intially. They expanded the lineup to include the Kraze and the ZX models in 1995, but ultimately decided to return to boat manufacturing after the 1997 models were sold off.
The Wet Jet brand was discontinued by Mastercraft and faded into personal watercraft history. Parts are still available on eBay and through a single distributor for those who still enjoy these machines. We are still compiling info on parts for the Duo, Kraze, and ZX.
Any owners or experts in the field of Wet Jet personal watercraft are welcome to submit any additional information and photos using our contact form.
